Deactivate Custom Error Template

POST /v1/templates/{uuid}/deactivate

Stop serving a custom error page without deleting it. The template's is_active flag is cleared; while no template of its type is active, the edge serves the built-in default error page for that condition again. Turn it back on with Activate Template.

Deactivating a template that is already inactive succeeds and changes nothing. The call takes no body.

Requires the endpoints:update permission on the active account. Not plan-gated, so an account that lost custom_error_pages can still switch its pages off.

Path parameters

uuid string (uuid) Req
The template's uuid, from List Templates.

Deprecated: the legacy integer id is still accepted in the path until the sunset, answered with Deprecation and Sunset headers. Use the uuid.

Response (200 OK)

Empty body.
